Document Description
The Level 3 Communications Project (Project) is limited to installation of fiber optic conduit and related facilities along Highway 1 and Ten-mile Cutoff Road in Mendocino County. There are two segments included within this project: 1) A northern segment approximately 5.28 miles long that will be placed within the Caltrans right-of-way along Highway 1 from the City of Manchester to the City of Point Arena. 2) A southern segment that consists of the installation of approximately 8.36 miles of fiber optic cable along 10 Mile Cut Off Road from the intersection with Frog Song Road, south, including a small section along Iverson Road, then continuing along 10 Mile Cut Off Road to the terminus at Fish Rock Road. Construction will all occur within the shoulders of the roads and will require closure of the shoulders.
