                Document Description

Existing clearwell storage facilities on the WTP site include two above-ground water storage tanks that can accommodate storage of six mg of water. The City proposes to construct an additional six mg of clearwell storage at the site. This storage would be accommodated by one 6 mg circular, prestressed concrete tank. This tank would be located near the northern boundary of the WTP site, just east of the two existing clearwell storage tanks. The bottom elevation of the proposed tank would be approximately 360 feet above mean seal level (msl) and the roof slab would be at approximately 387 feet msl. The reservoir diameter would be approximately 200 feet with a side water depth of approximately 25 feet. The tank will be partially buried as the existing ground slopes from elevation 380 to 365. In addition, an earthen berm is proposed around the northwest, north, and west perimeter of the tank to partially conceal the tank from view from neighboring residences and to support proposed landscaping for additional screening. Up to 15 feet, approximately, of the top portion of the tank will remain visible above the proposed berm.
