Document Description
The project consists of the following entitlement requests: 1. A Special Development Permit to allow the proposed project to deviate from the following development standards: Minimum Front Yard Setback (Section 5.6.2.A, Table 5.14): 56 feet. As proposed, the front yard setback is 31 feet. 2. A Design Review to determine substantial compliance with the Sacramento County Countywide Design Guidelines (Design Guidelines). The project applicant is requesting the above entitlements to allow for a proposed data center expansion with incidental administrative offices on approximately 7.74 acres. The site is developed with a one-story 68,450± square foot building, known as Prime Data Center, an operational electric substation, and associated parking lot, fencing, and landscaping. The request includes the construction of a new two-story data center (110,269± square feet), a two-story administration building (11,276± square feet), and a one-story generator building (8,378± square feet).Thirty (30) parking spaces will be added for on-site employees along with new landscaping for parking lot and public street frontages. New landscaping will also be provided along the perimeters of each newly constructed building.
