Document Description
The proposed Project would subdivide the existing 6.14-acre parcel into two parcels, each developed with one building comprised of three fire-separated habitable structures and one parking structure. The Project includes 172 residential units for active seniors, 26 of which would be reserved for lower income households, qualifying the Project for a density bonus under the State of California Density Bonus Law (CA Gov Code Section 65915)) and a 143,000 SF assisted living and memory care facility. The City approved Tentative Parcel Map (TPM 2025-151 )/Subdivision (2025-0003), Conditional Use Permit (2025-0012), and Design Review (2025-0008). The City also conducted the first reading by title only of Ordinance 1580, approving Development Agreement 2025-0001 to facilitate the development and conveyance of the 6.14-acre City-owned site.
