This Notice of Determination concerns the CDFG's approval of the City of La Mesa Natural Community Conservation Subarea Plan ("Subarea Plan") pursuant to the Natural Community Conservation Planning Act ("NCCP"), Fish and Game Code section 2800, et. seq., issuance of a take authorization in conjunction with the Subarea Plan, and the execution of an implementing agreement between the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the CDFG and the City of La Mesa ("Implementing Agreement"). Collectively, these actions are referred to herein as the CDFG's "NCCP Approval." The CDFG is a California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") Responsible Agency for the purpose of the NCCP Approval.
