Document Description
Development of 5.6 acres with a water system facility as part of the Los Angeles County Waterworks District water delivery system. Four water tanks/reservoirs would be constructed to provide critical capacity during peak usage, emergencies, or supply interruptions, improving system pressure stability, reducing head loss, and increasing pumping efficiency. Phase 1 includes the construction of one 3.2 million gallon (MG) steel welded water tank/reservoir, utility line improvements along West Avenue M / Columbia Way, the construction of a six-foot-high block wall around the perimeter of the site, an access gate at the southwest corner of the site, landscaping and a detention basin. Phases 2 through 4 would each involve the construction of one 3.2 MG steel welded water tank/reservoir. No additional off-site improvements would occur during Phases 2 through 4.
