The FHWA and Caltrans propose to construct a four-lane freeway around the City of Lincoln, in Placer County, from south of Industrial Boulevard to north of Riosa Road. The purpose of the project is to alleviate congestion within the City of Lincoln and provide for interregional movement of goods and services.
