Document Description
The Applicant is proposing to modify the use of an existing graded and maintained 2.2-mile-long maintenance road currently closed to the public and add certain recreational opportunities to it for the enjoyment of the surrounding communities and visitors. The proposed shared maintenance road/trail would connect with the Sweetwater Reservoir Recreation Area to the County of San Diego’s Riding and Hiking Trail. The Project would include habitat restoration, weed abatement, and drainage improvements that would improve the water quality for the reservoir.
