Reasons for Exemption
The project involves the replacement of existing roadway safety facilities which will be located at the same general locations as the facilities replaced and provide the same purpose and capacity as the existing facilities. The guard rail replacements are necessary to upgrade existing metal beam guard rail systems with Midwest guard rail systems which meet current codes and standards.
