Document Description
The project proposes roadway rehabilitation on State Route 198 near Coalinga. Work involves removing and replacing the existing asphalt concrete pavement with hot mix asphalt and rubberized hot mix asphalt. The existing asphalt concrete surface will be excavated to a depth of 0.25 feet during removal. The proposed work will be performed within the existing road from edge of pavement to edge of pavement. Shoulder backing will be applied 3 feet wide at the existing shoulder backing area. Temporary signpost may be installed at begin and end work post mile areas at the county lines for construction. Work is limited to the Caltrans right of way.
