Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-MEN-67383-R1C, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Steve Willoughby (Permittee) representing Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E).
The Project is limited to one (1) encroachment to stabilize the south bank of Feliz Creek and re-cover two exposed pipelines (one 12-inch diameter and one 3-inch diameter) by placing approximately 865 cubic yards of Rock Slope Protection (RSP) along the bank and within the channel. The RSP will extend approximately 300 feet upstream and 100 feet downstream of the pipelines, and 80 feet into the stream channel. Heavy equipment will access the lower bank and stream channel from upslope to downslope, using the installed RSP. No other access to the creek will be required for the equipment to access the stream bank or channel. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal and replacement in-kind of an existing storm water culvert and outfall, to daylight beyond the RSP, compaction, and installation of erosion control measures. The disturbed upland areas will be hydroseeded with a native seed mix and approximately 125 riparian plantings will be installed along the embankment.
