Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Charter Communications to access existing poles and overlash to place a new riser, trench, place a new vault, and trench to stub at the private property on State Route (SR) 1, at postmile 14.47 in the City of Torrance, County of Los Angeles, as well as perform temporary traffic control activities. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 48 inches, an average width of 2 inches, and a maximum length of 9 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
